In the field of the study Free Oscillations of the Earth (1971-1987)

  • Investigated the increment of seismic impact intensity due to the resonant properties of the soils of the Ararat sedimentary basin.
  • He was a member of the expert group on seismicity assessment at the Armenian NPP site (after the Spitak earthquake) under the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
  • Investigated soil category III on seismic properties and made recommendations to Gosstroy of Armenia, in order to clarify the SNiP of Armenia.

In the field of seismotectonics, remote sensing and teaching (1980-1987)
